The athletic program is an integral component of the overall education and development of every student at Priory. Through significant participation, the program is designed to help each student discover his God given talents, provide an environment in which both the individual and the team can develop those talents to the fullest extent, and foster a competitive spirit in each student that is guided by sportsmanship, high character and integrity.
Priory students represent the school through interscholastic competition in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, tennis, track, ultimate and wrestling.
Practice begins on August 4 for all high school students:
CROSS COUNTRY - August 4 - 8 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Priory (meet in the high school commons)
August 11 - 15 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. M,W,F at Priory T and Th at Queeny Park
FOOTBALL - "B" Team ( Freshmen and Sophomores) August 4 - 8 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
August 11-15 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Arrive 30 minutes before start of practice.
Varsity August 4 - 8 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Start with meetings)
August 11- 14 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. August 15 6:00 p.m. Jamboree at Kennedy HS.
SOCCER - Practice/Tryouts Monday August 4 to Saturday August 9 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Practice Monday August 11 to Saturday August 16 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 am.
