Endowment is an important element of the financial picture in private-independent schools. The endowment provides additional and permanent annual resources to maintain and improve the quality of education that the school provides its students. The endowment should be considered an investment that will have the most impact for succeeding generations of students rather than the present generation.
Members contributed nearly five million dollars to the $20 million Endowment Campaign to ensure the future of the Saint Louis Abbey and Saint Louis Priory School. The thirty-six initial alumni members include:

While this is a long way from our $20 million goal, we are optimistic about the gifts given to date and the possibility for future gifts to get us to our goal.
